Responsibilities:

Senior IBM iSeries Engineer

As a Senior IBM iSeries Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our IBM iSeries (AS/400) infrastructure to support our expansive health services operations. You will engineer robust solutions that contribute to the efficacy and security of our healthcare delivery systems. Your role involves supporting a myriad of technology initiatives, integrating seamlessly into an agile and fast-paced environment, and communicating effectively with both clients and colleagues.

• Strong experience with IBM ISeries system administration, including OS upgrades, patch management, and
• Deep knowledge of IBM iSeries application development - specifically in ILE RPG, RPG Free Format, CLLE, and
• Familiarity with modern iSeries development tools and methodologies, including RDi, Git, and DevOps
• Expertise in implementing and managing High Availability solutions like MIMIX or iTera.

Decent understanding of DB2/SQL on IBM i, data modeling, and database security/integrity.

Technical Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage iSeries system architecture to ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities and that meet evolving business requirements.
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure performance optimization and compliance with the latest security protocols.
• Lead complex system upgrades and migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime and business continuity.
• Develop and maintain advanced iSeries applications, ensuring alignment with business processes and requirements.
• Utilize modern development tools and practices to maintain a state-of-the-art iSeries environment. : more in ant and macros effective data backup and resistrategiation of the Series systems with other

corporate IT infrastructure.

• Establish and refine iSeries system monitoring protocols to proactively address potential issues.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $55.00 - $58.00 per hour
